Are you ready for the next big thing in the food industry? Look no further than Jimmy "MrBeast" Donaldson, the fastest-growing YouTuber (and TikToker) of 2022. With his captivating concepts and wildly popular videos, MrBeast has mesmerized audiences around the globe. But his talents don't stop there; he also operates thriving businesses like MrBeast Burger and Feastables.
MrBeast's burger joint, MrBeast Burger, has been a great success, generating over $100 million in revenue, as stated by Donaldson in a tweet last year. Feastables is reportedly even more profitable than MrBeast Burger and was valued at $50 million when it raised $5 million in funding early last year. In a recent Lex Fridman podcast episode, Mr. Beast says he plans to increase the number of retail locations where Feastables is available by ten times in 2023.

Jimmy has also hinted at a new strategy involving his fans in expanding his ventures. According to him, he intends to create more businesses and sell portions of them for billions of dollars, but instead of keeping the money, he plans to give it away in his videos. To involve his fans in the business, Mr. Beast also hinted at the possibility of IPO'ing his food ventures. This move could allow his fans to invest and be part of the success of these companies.
Maybe I should ipo Feastables and Beast Burger while they’re relatively small so you guys can share in the growth. Feel pretty confident we can easily 100x the rev we are doing
But idk if that’d make my life 2 stressful or not haha

Chess.com does it again.
Chess.com's popularity has grown in recent years thanks to the Netflix show "The Queen's Gambit," which has renewed interest in chess. In addition, Chess.com has also been able to attract a surge of users thanks to its clever integration of popular influencers like MrBeast, Ludwig, and the Botez Sisters. The platform has leveraged these well-known names by creating "AI bots" that mimic their playing style and skill level, allowing users to challenge these public figures in virtual matches. This adds an exciting element of competition and increases the platform's visibility and draws in more users who are fans of these influencers. This innovative approach to incorporating cultural icons has helped Chess.com stand out in the online chess community.According to the "Huddle Up" newsletter, the platform just crossed 100M users and ~$100M in revenue in 2022.

They recently tapped into the cultural zeitgeist again with... AI kittens?Chess.com launched a new set of bots for players to compete against, and one stood out from the rest. The bots, which included Scaredy Cat (rated 800), Angry Cat (rated 1000), Mr. Grumpers (rated 1200), and Catspurrov (rated 1400), all behaved as expected. However, one bot named Mittens, with a rating of 1 raised questions and suspicions among players. There appeared to be more to Mittens than what initially met the eye. This bot went viral across the web, with many of the large chess influencers, including Christopher "Hikaru" Nakamura, a five-time U.S. Chess Champion, taking notice.
